Just before Mayhem hits London and England pride goes wild, I quietly pack up and scoot out the door.

Unwilling to let go of this new lifestyle of public transportation at my fingertips, constant entertainment in the simplicity of walking down the street, and new sights, sounds, and smells in every direction. Undecided about going back to something so foreignly familiar, home once again.

It is a frustratingly overused word, but it is the only one that fits. Bittersweet is this goodbye, bittersweet is this hello. Off to another world to explore, the one that I call home.

The most beautiful sights in the Lake District were so natural and organic, and ultimately the most difficult for me to photograph.

In urban city life I find the most intricate clusters of visuals to snag in a picture, yet here with such infinite simplicity I was at a loss for shots.

Moo Cows!

Every summer my family makes the 9-hour trek from Southern California to my second home in beautiful Lake Tahoe, passing through fields and mountains and grazing cows galore. As a tod I used to shake my knees around and dance every time I saw these fuzzy beasts, so peacefully roaming the open land, and shout “Moo Cows!”

Fast forward 19 years and yet I haven’t changed much.

Last London Affair

As my 5 months in Europe, most specifically in England, dwindle down to the final few days, I decided it was most necessary to say a proper goodbye to my favorite part of the country. The bustling capitol is a big city with a homey feel. Each neighborhood is unique to the next and carries its own personality and character. From the punkish Camden town to the formal Westminster, I am truly going to miss every speck of it.

The following is a strand of pictures I took during my most recent trip to London, and probably my last for a few years, but I most definitely plan to return to these parts for a curious round two. Stay tuned :]

Burial place of many great kings, queens, leaders, writers, and more. Shakespeare even has an impressive memorial here, although his body remains in his hometown not far off from London at Stratford-upon-Avon.
